About Tae

Tae Sean Wucha-Dales.

Age: 25
DoB: February 29th, 1992, 12:10am

Appearance:
He has short brown hair with some curl, which shows red-gold highlights in the sun, like his Irish father's hair. His eyes are hazel (grey/blue/green) sea colours and slanted like his mother's (tho hers are are dark dark blue almost black). He stands an average 5'10" tall and weighs an athletic 165lbs. He is Irish-Asian, but essentially all Canadian.

Tattoos:
He has some very bold tattoos. A large Celtic Triskele on the back of his neck and Japanese Maple Leaves decorate the insides of his forearms (See Momiji Avatar for image of leaves on forearm). These are to honour his Celtic and his Japanese heritages.

While he hated being teased with the name WuchaTae (with pretend martial moves), the name WuchaTae has grown on him. He celebrates his birthday on the 28th of February for convenience sake and hates being aged by the leap years only.

His CONCEPT is that of the Healer. He has followed this path all his life in some way shape or form, especially now as a part-time EMT. This is also reflected in his magic.

Elementally, this makes for a good blend of anchoring and stable Earth and compassionate and healing Water. This is clear even in his astrology chart with his Sun in Pisces and his moon in Capricorn. His Scorpio rising keeps him introverted, calm, quiet, and shy... also far more spiritual that most would suspect.

He favours the colours of the sea (soft greys, blues, teals), the greens and greys of Japanese temples splashed with the occasional red, and the spiritual colours of indigo and violet.

He has not officially "come out" but he is delicately exploring his queer side, dipping his toes into the LGBTQ+ community. He is pretty sure he is gay as he has not really been sexually attracted to any of his short-term relationship girlfriends, but he does find himself embarrassingly aroused by other men. He just really dislikes the "floof & pomp" that he often runs into regarding other gay men.

Tae is very good looking, HAWT even, tho does not remotely think himself so.

DEMEANOR: Stoic
Outwardly, Tae seems so composed, no matter the horrors that might be around him. Such is the life of any Emergency Responder. Composure is a critical necessity.  As a Stoic, he strives to stay balanced and strives to keep a cool and clear head when dealing with problems. He does not allow his own or other's passions or emotions sway him... especially if he is busy healing.

Regain Willpower:
Whenever he overcomes a serious setback or loss or attempts to sway him emotionally... without him giving in to anger or other strong emotions. 

NATURE: Caregiver
However, deep down, he is a big softy. He cares about everyone's and everything's well-being. He always tries to ease the pain or to heal the wounds. People tend to come to him for comfort or to cry on his shoulder. As such, he has been drawn toward healing careers and magic. He wanted to go into Nursing, but found there was too much politics for his comfort.

Every time he heals, cares for , or nurtures someone/something.

 

ESSENCE: Pattern
Tae's essence, reflected in his Avatar, is one of Pattern (even in its dynamic aspects).  He is the deep-rooted tree, the rock people cling to in the storm. He is all about stability and balance, calm and dependability. He considers the risks carefully before acting. He is inspired to be prudent, constructive, and trustworthy. He is a True Friend. He strongly adheres to an Honour Code.

Sometimes, he might seem like his Essence is Dynamic because he is always on the go from work to studies or whatever he is doing on his personal time. He has personal time?! 

Sometimes, he might seem like his Essence is Questing because he is carefully exploring and trying to understand his queerness.

Bottom line tho, he is all PATTERN.

 

AFFILIATION & SECT: Disparate Crafts - Orphan
Despite being raised by an Akashic Brotherhood mother and a Verbena Father, Tae has not sided yet with either faction. Each had taught him some of what they know, readying him to be initiated into one or the other's tradition. Each are eager for him to make up his mind. Tae, on the other hand, so far wants to do his OWN thing. He wants no part in the politics, or the War.

While Tae is eclectic, he tries to balance the Celtic Pagan worldview from his father with the Japanese worldview of his mother. If he had his way, he would create a whole new path that is a perfect blend of the Verbena and Akashic Brotherhood without the politics and War. As such, he has chosen to "take the road less travelled by... and it has made all the difference," so far. He is not without foundations, just is currently going his own direction.
